Samm Henhaw

There are many upcoming artists that you should be looking for but Samm Henshaw should certainly be on the top of that list! Iniabasl Samuel Henshaw or Samm Henshaw is a London-born Sould and R&B singer/songwriter who is on a fast rise with his soulful vocals and his pop-like catchy tunes. Music lovers should be very happy to know that he is hitting the road in the UK for a few shows!

The 27-year old is a multi-talented instrumentalist with the ability to play the guitar, keyboards, and drums on top of his strong vocal skills. Handpicked as an opener for major acts like Chance the Rapper, James Bay, and Allen Stone, Samm Henshaw has made waves in the mainstream music scene with his catchy tunes.

With his most recent single release titled “Chicken Wings” that came with three songs, Henshaw prepares for his first studio album Untidy Soul to be released on Jan. 28th! Henshaw has had a relatively young musical career with his debut EP dropping in 2015 titled The Sound Experiment. Already signed by Columbia Records by this time, Henshaw followed up with a second EP titled The Sound Experiment 2 in 2016 along with numerous singles released across 2018 to 2021.

Here’s what Samm Henshaw had to say about his upcoming album in an interview with Vibe:

“It’s got a lot of different meanings and parts to it, but overall, a lot of people would ask me what my sound was and I couldn’t tell for the longest time. Then, one day I must’ve just randomly said the music’s just very messy, sort of unclean, unkept, untidy soul and I was like that can be a cool name. On top of the fact that for me, in regards to the process, I’m a bit of a scatterbrain and my whole process of thinking, the way I put stuff together is quite messy and untidy, but I just kinda found this beauty in that.”

As of right now, Henshaw has only booked three shows in the UK, but we’re certain to see more shows from him. This is an artist to keep an eye out for! Learn more about him by visiting his website.
