Parcels (Electropop, Disco-soul)
Electropop band Parcels is on tour across Europe and Australia this Summer!
Parcels consist of Louie Swain (keyboard, vocals), Patrick Hetherington (keyboard, guitar, vocals), Noah Hill (bass guitar, vocals), Anatole "Toto" Serret (percussion, vocals), and Jules Crommelin (guitar, vocals). Their music is a seamless cross of soul, disco, and electronic music. Their soothing falsetto vocal performance melds perfectly with their calm yet energetic musical style filling every pocket of space with something to appreciate in every song.
Starting in 2014, Parcels has published a modest but powerful set of projects with two studio albums, one live album, and numerous EPs & singles with their newest full-length project being Day/Night (2021).
In an album review article by NME, reviewer Rhys Buchanan stated the following about Day/Night: “True to its core concept, the album is cyclical as the sweeping strings of closer ‘Inside’ roll back into the first track as soon as it’s over. It means you can jump in and out of Parcels’ vivid world any time you want – but you’re guaranteed to want to come back for more. This daring album sets yet another high bar for this band, and leaves us itching to find out where they’ll go next.”
Fans of Her, Franc Moody, and even Daft Punk (their collaboration project launched Parcels into the spotlight) will certainly appreciate this band!
