Joji

Joji

November 22, 2021

With COVID disrupting events across all forms of media, audiences are starved for live entertainment. Returning with just four shows in California in San Francisco and Los Angeles, Joji sold out his tickets within hours upon announcing the dates!

George Kusunoki Miller, better known as Joji, is a singer-songwriter who was formerly known as the internet personality, Filthy Frank and Pink Guy. Starting his shine in the spotlight as a depraved YouTube character who went against all the “safe” and “family-friendly” content being made by YouTubers, Filthy Frank garnered a large audience with his sketch comedy-based videos. Miller showed his skills in music as one of his characters, Pink guy, releasing a full-length album of meme-type hip-hop songs and has even performed as SXSW.

Today, Miller or Joji has ceased production of any Filthy Frank content and has moved on to greater things. In 2017, Joji released numerous songs under 88 Rising with an EP titled In Tongues. With an already dedicated audience, George Miller as Joji blew up in the scene of serious music artists, leaving behind his otherwise-crass persona as Filthy Frank. With songs that cover deeper topics of love and loss, Joji has become an artist to take seriously.

With his newest album Nectar that was released in 2020, Joji hits the stage once more after the long-awaited dry spell that came due to the pandemic. As of now, the only dates that are announced are in San Francisco and Los Angeles, but we look forward to seeing more live shows from him.
